The Rainbow Trout collection
Ms. Rainbow trout was painted on a camping trip up at Baker Lake this last spring. While I was sitting by the creek watching the water run by, I thought about the Rainbow trout swimming up stream facing the current, always moving forward. I daydreamed about the hurdles I have recently overcome and how mother nature knows just what we need to do to grow and sustain this beautiful life.

I painted this little delight on my artist residency and was craving a burger…can you tell? Sometimes a big ole cheese burger just hits the spot!
